Cultivating Camper Engagement During COVID-19
One of the most magical things about camp is how campers and their families come back year after year, building a sense of belonging and engagement that can often last a lifetime. But this summer, COVID-19 has prevented many children—both veteran campers and newbies—from accessing that in-person camp experience that is so critical to building engagement.
As you think about retaining campers for the summers ahead, camper engagement is more critical than ever. As we would expect, camps across the nation have been creative and intentional in how they interact with campers and their families at a time when in-person experiences are either restricted or curtailed entirely.
