Although it may be defined differently on a financial statement, Redwoods defines Program Revenue as any income except philanthropic. Examples of revenue to include or not are provided below. Your organization may have different lines of revenue.
Included:
- Membership Fees
- Child Care Revenue
- Residence Revenue
- Sales of Supplies or Services
- Special Event Revenue
Not Included:
- General Donations
- Endowment Transfers or Contributions
- Foundation Grants
- Federated Campaign Funds
- Capital Campaign Contributions
- Government Grants/Funds (Including Pandemic Relief)

Our Redwoods Responds pricing initiative is designed to use alternative metrics that more accurately reflect your exposure during modified or reduced programming. For this reason, you will need a few pieces of information to complete this form.
Please Note: Because our goal is to compare current operations to a time before the pandemic, we want to make it clear that we are asking for documentation that compares 2021 to 2019, not 2020.
For All Organizations
- Your billing point of contact with phone number and email address
- Your broker’s name and email address
For YMCAs and JCCs
- Total Program Revenue* for the following time periods:
- February 1, 2019 – May 31, 2019
- February 1, 2021 – May 31, 2021
- Supporting documentation:
- Summary Statement of Activities (SOA) showing revenue categories (versus single line items)
- Provide an explanation of what is included in any “Miscellaneous” revenue lines
- Identify any revenue coming from a grant (government or private) if not clearly labeled on the SOA
For Boys & Girls Clubs
- Average Daily Attendance by month for the following time periods:
- February 1, 2019 – May 31, 2019
- February 1, 2021 – May 31, 2021
- Supporting documentation:
- Any internal documents showing per month ADA totals for entire organization (not enrollment) such as reports to the Board of Directors, BGCA or annual report
