The Redwoods Institute is Changing
ANNOUNCEMENT:
This month, in October 2025, The Redwoods Institute will become a content provider only. We will no longer offer access for users to complete online trainings on our site. Our public-facing LMS will be decommissioned and discontinued.
We will continue to create and update online trainings, and provide the course files to national organizations (such as YMCA of the USA, American Camp Association, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America), to be completed by their member organizations. If your organization is interested in obtaining SCORM files for your own use, please contact us. We can provide SCORM files to be uploaded to any LMS, at no cost to you—regardless of your relationship with The Redwoods Group.
The Redwoods Group collects data and insights from thousands of claims each year. Then we take what we’ve learned and create online trainings designed specifically for the community organizations we serve.
Our learning approach moves beyond traditional “click-and-read” trainings, instead utilizing video and graphics, retention quizzes and shorter-length formats to keep staff engaged and learning.
Redwoods online training is available to all at no cost—regardless of who your organization purchases insurance from. Our mission is to create safe communities for all, and we can further this mission by making our trainings available to anyone who wants them.
